Week 5 Session 1

Up to 3k sessions from now on! Level of difficulty 5/10 - I originally had 4/10, then did the session, and it had a little bit of bite in the 200s. A good vanilla light threshold session.
4 x 200 free on 3.00 building - first 200 last 50*, second 200 last 100* etc. Last 200 all threshold*. (My times 2.46/2.44/2.42/2.40s) TIP - a threshold 50 should be about 2 seconds faster than a standard 50, so your times should reduce about 2s per 200m. Rest should be 15s to 30s between 200s.
200 easy back/free
4 x 100 kick threshold* on 2.15s (my times 1.55s) TIP - dont discount kick. It is as important as any other part of the stroke. Your leg muscles are big, and they suck a lot of oxygen, you dont want your legs to tire. Ian Thorpe, he could kick a 400m in 5.08s - not too shabby.
