About due for an anaerobic session, these types of sessions put pressure on your body to work at a higher productivity, ultimately increasing your speed. For our purposes, we dont really need to do these types of sessions, but they do break up the monotony of constant aerobic/threshold sessions. Anaerobic sessions, if done properly, hurt a lot.
