Descending interval sets today - its is amazing how much harder a set gets as the interval drops. Easy on 50, moderate on 45, and hard on 40, even though you swim the same time for all of the 50s (in my case about 39). Level of difficulty 6/10.


100 - 200 - 400 - 400 paddles - 200 pull - 100 kick

6 x 100IM on 1.45

Main Set - 3 sets (60s between each set)

4 x 50* on 50

4 x 50* on 45

4 x 50* on 40

Repeat (second set with paddles)

Repeat in kick on 1.10/1.05/1.00
